Nokia 8110 has integrated the popular messaging app WhatsApp. And the recent update has reached Indian tech market first. The phone also has slider banana feature which includes slide to answer feature and end calls as well. It also encompasses a helicopter style spin on its axis.
“We’re so happy that our fans in India will get WhatsApp on Nokia 8110; first anywhere in the world,” said Ajey Mehta, Vice President and Country Head – India, HMD Global. The phone was announced by the company back in February 2018 at the event of Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.
The phone will cost around Rs. 4,999 and is already a hit in both offline and online markets. The online retailers include Amazon, FlipKart and Nokia’s official website. The mobile includes features such as web-based mobile operating system (OS) KaiOS, the 4G feature phone supports VoLTE calling and comes equipped with pre-loaded Google apps like Assistant, Maps, Search and other apps like Facebook, Outlook and Gmail.
