Karanataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy seemed to be agitated as reports suggested that Congress MLA’s in the state claimed Siddaramaiah to be their sole leader. When the Chief Minister heard this, he warned the Congress MLA’s to not cross the line.
While talking to the press, Kumaraswamy said, “Congress MLAs say Siddaramaiah is their leader, Congress leaders have to watch all that issues, I’m not the concerned person for it. If they want to continue with it, I’m ready to step down. They’re crossing line…”

Deputy CM G Parameshwara in a statement said that though Siddaramaiah is the best CM he has worked with but had no problems with Kumaraswamy. He said, “Siddaramaiah has been best CM. He is our CLP leader. What is wrong in expressing opinions?”
