Bokaro: At least 20 people suffered the complications of food poisoning in the New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express. There are also kids among the food poisoned individuals. The train stopped at Bokaro railway station to treat the patients.
The angry passengers created a scene in the Bokaro railway station. When the scene turned violent, senior railway officials intervened. The havoc started after passengers were served food at night after the train left Delhi.
The passengers of coaches B3, B5, and B7 AND B9 started experiencing symptoms that allude to food poisoning. Many of them had complaints like loose motion, stomach ache, vomiting etc. When things turned serious, the train stopped at Bokaro railway station to treat the patients. The train halted around an hour in the station and left only after all patients were given medical help. The railway authorities are probing the matter.
